Neurodivergent Learning Specialist & Tutor

Service Overview

I am a private learning specialist offering online, sensory-cognitive instruction for neurodivergent students. I am currently looking to add one or two additional clients for the current academic year.

Credentials & Experience

I bring twenty-five years of experience working with neurodivergent children and adults. My professional background includes:

• Four years with Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes as a tutor and lesson plan developer in their Washington, DC and Berkeley, California clinics.
• Seven years operating a private practice.
• Certified practitioner of The Safe & Sound Protocol.

Services Offered

I utilize the following research-based, sensory-cognitive programs from Lindamood-Bell in my practice:

• Seeing Stars for reading and spelling instruction.
• LiPS for developing phonemic awareness and reading skills.
• Visualizing and Verbalizing to enhance reading comprehension.

Student Specializations

I provide support to students with a variety of learning profiles, including:

• Dyslexia, hyperlexia, and auditory processing disorders.
• Autism Spectrum Disorders and non-verbal learning disabilities.
• Executive functioning challenges, working memory difficulties, and ADHD.

Service Details

Format: All sessions are conducted entirely via Zoom.

Payment: I accept private payment only.

Location & Scheduling: I am based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (EST), and work with students located across time zones from Pacific to Eastern.
