Good People Coffee Co is an acclaimed Coffee Roaster and Cafe situated in West Los Angeles, California. We are a supportive, innovative, and dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and elevating the Specialty Coffee experience. Our offerings include multiple espresso selections, comprehensive in-house training, and two distinct locations. Our flagship site features a full kitchen and an expansive patio, while our second location occupies a large lobby shared with over twenty kitchens, where we serve as the exclusive coffee provider.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily shift operations
- Master the steps and procedures involved in daily workflows
- Ensure efficient and seamless operations during the shift
- Uphold quality standards for coffee preparation, customer service, and cleanliness
- Address customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly
- Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain cashiering accuracy
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to guarantee smooth operations
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as required
Experience:
For Shift Lead Position:
- Minimum of two years of experience in specialty coffee
- Proficiency in dialing in espresso for both milk-based drinks and single-origin offerings
- Ability to identify and describe two to three distinct flavor notes for each coffee
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks
- Strong leadership qualities and the skill to motivate a team
For Barista Position:
- Minimum of two years of experience at Starbucks or Coffee Bean
- Familiarity with the names and uses of all standard coffee tools
- Valid food handler\'s certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks
- Strong leadership qualities and the skill to motivate a team
